7:11 过了不多时(有古卷作“次日”)，耶稣往一座城去，这城名叫拿因，他的门徒和极多的人与他同行。
7:11 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him.
7:12 将近城门，有一个死人被抬出来；这人是他母亲独生的儿子，他母亲又是寡妇；有城里的许多人同着寡妇送殡。
7:12 As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out–the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.
7:13 主看见那寡妇就怜悯她，对她说：“不要哭。”
7:13 When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, “Don’t cry.”
7:14 于是进前按着杠，抬的人就站住了。耶稣说：“少年人，我吩咐你，起来！”
7:14 Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, “Young man, I say to you, get up!”
7:15 那死人就坐起，并且说话。耶稣便把他交给他母亲。
7:15 The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.
7:16 众人都惊奇，归荣耀与 神说：“有大先知在我们中间兴起来了！”又说：“ 神眷顾了他的百姓！”
7:16 They were all filled with awe and praised God. “A great prophet has appeared among us,” they said. “God has come to help his people.”
7:17 他这事的风声就传遍了犹太和周围地方。
7:17 This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country. (Jesus and John the Baptist )
