雅各(以色列)的后代：
35:9 雅各从巴旦亚兰回来， 神又向他显现，赐福与他，
35:9 After Jacob returned from Paddan Aram, God appeared to him again and blessed him.
35:10 且对他说：“你的名原是雅各，从今以后不要再叫雅各，要叫以色列。”这样，他就改名叫以色列。
35:10 God said to him, “Your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob; your name will be Israel. ” So he named him Israel.
35:11 神又对他说：“我是全能的 神，你要生养众多，将来有一族和多国的民从你而生，又有君王从你而出。
35:11 And God said to him, “I am God Almighty ; be fruitful and increase in number. A nation and a community of nations will come from you, and kings will come from your body.
35:12 我所赐给亚伯拉罕和以撒的地，我要赐给你与你的后裔。”
35:12 The land I gave to Abraham and Isaac I also give to you, and I will give this land to your descendants after you.”
35:13 神就从那与雅各说话的地方升上去了。
35:13 Then God went up from him at the place where he had talked with him.
35:14 雅各便在那里立了一根石柱，在柱子上奠酒、浇油。
35:14 Jacob set up a stone pillar at the place where God had talked with him, and he poured out a drink offering on it; he also poured oil on it.
35:15 雅各就给那地方起名叫伯特利。
35:15 Jacob called the place where God had talked with him Bethel. ( The Deaths of Rachel and Isaac )
35:16 他们从伯特利起行，离以法他还有一段路程，拉结临产甚是艰难。
35:16 Then they moved on from Bethel. While they were still some distance from Ephrath, Rachel began to give birth and had great difficulty.
35:17 正在艰难的时候，收生婆对她说：“不要怕，你又要得一个儿子了。”
35:17 And as she was having great difficulty in childbirth, the midwife said to her, “Don’t be afraid, for you have another son.”
35:18 她将近于死，灵魂要走的时候，就给她儿子起名叫便俄尼，他父亲却给他起名叫便雅悯。
35:18 As she breathed her last-for she was dying-she named her son Ben-Oni. But his father named him Benjamin.
35:19 拉结死了，葬在以法他的路旁；以法他就是伯利恒。
35:19 So Rachel died and was buried on the way to Ephrath (that is, Bethlehem).
35:20 雅各在她的坟上立了一统碑，就是拉结的墓碑，到今日还在。
35:20 Over her tomb Jacob set up a pillar, and to this day that pillar marks Rachel’s tomb.
35:21 以色列起行前往，在以得台那边支搭帐棚。
35:21 Israel moved on again and pitched his tent beyond Migdal Eder.
35:22 以色列住在那地的时候，流便去与他父亲的妾辟拉同寝，以色列也听见了。雅各共有十二个儿子。
35:22 While Israel was living in that region, Reuben went in and slept with his father’s concubine Bilhah, and Israel heard of it. Jacob had twelve sons:
35:23 利亚所生的是雅各的长子流便，还有西缅、利未、犹大、以萨迦、西布伦；
35:23 The sons of Leah: Reuben the firstborn of Jacob, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar and Zebulun.
35:24 拉结所生的是约瑟、便雅悯；
35:24 The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin.
35:25 拉结的使女辟拉所生的是但、拿弗他利；
35:25 The sons of Rachel’s maidservant Bilhah: Dan and Naphtali.
35:26 利亚的使女悉帕所生的是迦得、亚设，这是雅各在巴旦亚兰所生的儿子。
35:26 The sons of Leah’s maidservant Zilpah: Gad and Asher. These were the sons of Jacob, who were born to him in Paddan Aram.
35:27 雅各来到他父亲以撒那里，到了基列亚巴的幔利，乃是亚伯拉罕和以撒寄居的地方；基列亚巴就是希伯仑。
35:27 Jacob came home to his father Isaac in Mamre, near Kiriath Arba (that is, Hebron), where Abraham and Isaac had stayed.
35:28 以撒共活了一百八十岁。
35:28 Isaac lived a hundred and eighty years.
35:29 以撒年纪老迈，日子满足，气绝而死，归到他列祖(原文作“本民”)那里。他两个儿子以扫、雅各，把他葬埋了。
35:29 Then he breathed his last and died and was gathered to his people, old and full of years. And his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.
